SSC Combined Hindi translator Examination important dates
From 2nd of August the application form for SSC Hindi translator examinations will be active on the SSC official website. Last date of application submission is 25th of August. Applications submitted after this date will automatically get rejected. If any candidate thinks he/she has provided wrong information in the application form then they can modify it between 4th of September to 5th of September when SSC will open the application correction windows. SSC combined Hindi translator exam computer based test will be held in the month of October-November.

Candidates having age above 18 years and below 30 years are eligible to apply for Hindi translator exam. Candidates born not before 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2006 are eligible to apply for SSC Hindi translator recruitment exam 2024. Procedure to Apply online for SSC Hindi translator recruitment
1.Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the new website of SSC Headquarters.
2. All the candidates who wish to apply in response to this Notice and have not generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website (https://ssc.gov.in) will be required to do so as the earlier OTR generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional for the new website. Subsequent to OTR, the candidates can proceed to fill the application for the examination. Once an OTR has been generated on the new website, it will continue to remain valid for all the examinations to be applied for on the new website.
3. After login candidates will be taken to an online application form where they need to fill the application form with their personal details and educational details. Remember one candidate should fill only one application form of SSC combined Hindi translator exam.
4. After providing details candidates need to upload their photograph and signature in the specified size mentioned by the commission or size given under the upload screen.
5. After uploading documents , candidates need to preview their application form and then pay the application fees. Note that application fees once paid shall not be refunded in any conditions.
6. At last click the submit button . Your application form for SSC Hindi translator exam will get submitted.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST ,PwBD, Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying any application fees and candidates belonging to other categories need to pay application fees of rupees 100 for SSC Hindi translator recruitment. These fee once paid shall not be refunded in any conditions.
Exam will consist of two papers. Paper-1 will be an objective type paper and will be held in computer based mode. It will consist of 200 questions, 100 from general English and 100 from general Hindi. Time duration for Ssc Hindi translator paper-1 will be 2 hrs. Paper-2 of Hindi translator exam will be descriptive paper and will be held in written mode. In this paper questions of translation and essay writing will be asked to the candidate. It will be a total of 200 marks. Time duration for answering the paper will be 2hrs.
For each correct answer in paper-1 candidates will be awarded 1 mark each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the Question. There will be no negative marking for questions that were left unanswered.
