IBPS PO/MT important dates
Candidates can submit their Application form for IBPS PO recruitment exam from 1st of August. Candidates can only submit their application form till 21st of August. Any modification in IBPS PO application form should be done between 1st August to 21st August. IBPS PO preliminary exam will be held in the month of October and the Main exam will be held in the month of November.
Age limit for IBPS PO/MT
Age of the candidates for the IBPS PO exam should not be less than 20 years and more than 30 years. A candidate must have been born earlier than 02.08.1994 and later than 01.08.2004(both dates are inclusive). IBPS PO recruitment 2024 participating banks
This year IBPS is conducting IBPS PO exam for recruitment of Probationary officer and management trainee in the following banks: Bank of Baroda, central bank of India, bank of India, Indian bank, union bank of India, uco bank, Indian oversea bank, Canara bank, bank of Maharashtra, Punjab national bank, Punjab and sind bank.
Application fees of IBPS PO recruitment exam
IBPS PO exam 2024 application fee for SC/ST/PwBD categories candidates will be RS.175 and for all candidates belonging to other categories except categories mentioned above have to pay application fees of RS. 850. All candidates need to pay the Application fees of IBPS PO exam only by online mode. Remember that application fees need to be paid before 21.08.2024 or your application will be marked as incomplete and will get rejected automatically.
IBPS PO/MT Eligibility criteria
Candidates appearing for IBPS PO recruitment 2024 should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
How to apply online for IBPS PO/MT exam 2024?
(1) Candidates are first required to go to the authorized IBPS website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CRP PO/MT” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES (CRP-PO/MT-XIV)” to open the Online Application Form.
(2) Candidates will have click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form. After that a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed.
(3) Candidates are required to upload their
- Photograph
- Signature
- Left thumb impression
- A hand written declaration
- Certificate as mentioned in clause J (ix) (if applicable)
- Candidates will also be required to capture and upload their live photograph through webcam or mobile phone during the registration process.
(4) Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on COMPLETE REGISTRATION Button. Visually Impaired candidates are responsible for carefully verifying/ getting the details filled in, in the online application form properly verified and ensuring that the same are correct prior to submission as no change is possible after submission.
(5)At last, candidates need to pay the application fee which is mentioned in the IBPS PO application fees section. On successful payment e-receipt will be generated . Download it for future verification.
IBPS PO exam 2024 will be conducted in three phases : preliminary exam, Main exam and interview. Preliminary examination will be an objective test which will consist of questions from three sections: English language, Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning .
The English language section will consist of 30 questions. Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning section will consist of 35 questions each. Prelim exam will have a total of 100 marks. Candidates will get only 1 hrs to solve all the questions. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.
Main examination will be an objective and descriptive test. It will consist of four tests: reasoning and computer aptitude ,English language, general awareness and Data analysis and interpretation. Data analysis and English language section will have 35 questions each. General awareness will consist of 40 questions and reasoning will consist of 45 questions. Along with this a descriptive test will be there consisting of letter and essay writing. Main exam will have a total of 200 marks.
Candidates clearing the cut-off mark of the Main exam will be called for an interview. After this final merit list will be published on IBPS official website.
In IBPS PO recruitment examination candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer in the objective test. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, there will be no penalty for that question.
