Opsc(Odisha public service commission ) has released the notification for recruitment of Assistant soil conservation officer in Group-B of odisha soil conservation service under the department of agriculture and farmer's empowerment. Opsc has released notification for recruitment 81 assistant soil conservation officers whose application form will be active from 16 July 2024. How to apply for the opsc soil conservation officers exam?
1.Candidate need to go to the opsc official website and register there.
2.After that they need to click on apply button present on the right of soil conservation officer recruitment.

Eligibility criteria for Opsc soil conservation officier
1.Candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. Candidates must be able to speak, read and write odia. Candidates should have an odia as an additional subject in their high school certificate.
3.Candidate who have a bsc in agriculture, bsc in horticulture, bsc in forestry and bsc in agriculture engineering.
4.Candidate age should be between 21-38 years. He/she must have been not before 2nd January 1986 and after 2nd January 2003.
Fees of examination
Candidates did not need to pay any fee for the opsc soil conservation officer exam as per the government rules made by the Odisha government. Candidates belonging to any category general, obc, ews and other should also not pay any fees for the exam.
Method of selection
Opsc soil conservation officers group -b exam will be conducted in two phase written exam and interviews. Written exam will consist of two papers, paper-1 and paper-2. Both these will consist of 100 questions.
All the questions in the written exam will be multiple choice questions (MCQ). Each question in the written test will contain 1 mark each.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview on the basis of their mark in written test. Interview will be of 25 marks according to the opsc official notification.
